my new love: Štruklj

I have fallen in love with those boiled doughy "things" filled with delicious soft cheese. Can't get enough of them. What a shame we can't get any here in London. Perhaps I should try and make my own...bit of a faff though!

The following question has been asked in a slovenian cooking forum:
Kaj delam narobe , da se mi štruklji , ko so kuhani vedno razlezejo in sploščijo.
What am I doing wrong, that my Strukli, when (they) are cooked always get stretched and flat.

sploščiti    -->     to flatten
sploščim   -->     I flatten
splošči      -->     it flattens
sploščijo   -->     they flatten

Sestavine

Namaz:
500 g nepasirane skute
1 jajce
1 kisla smetana
sol
kupljeno vlečeno testo - debelejše
malo olja in drobtin
alu folija
 Za posip:
2 žlici masla
3 žlice drobtin

  1. you must put them in boiling water for 25 minuts. in alu folija :) or in kitchen servet and you string at end
